FAQs

How and when do I RSVP?

We ask you to RSVP here by April 15, 2024, but the sooner the better!
In the RSVP form, we will ask that you please let us know of any dietary restrictions.

Can I bring a guest?

We can only accommodate the guests to whom we have extended formal invitations.  If you have been extended a plus one, your invitation will be addressed to your plus one by name or will include "and Guest". Thank you so much for understanding.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Guests may arrive at the venue as early as 6:30pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm. 
Please be mindful that traffic can be bad in the summer when planning your departure time.

What’s the best way to get to the wedding?

Shuttles will run to/from the wedding venue and the Southampton Inn and Ocean View Terrace Inn.  Check back in closer to the date for exact timing.
Uber/Lyft are plentiful - leave extra time just in case. You can also find taxi companies under Travel. 
Parking is available at the venue. 
Please be mindful of your transportation choice. Drinking and driving is a huge problem on Long Island, and we definitely don't want to add to that problem!

What is the attire for the weekend?

Our welcome party is festive casual attire. Examples: for women - sundress, maxi dress, white jeans, linen shorts or rompers; for men - nice shorts, jeans, nice t shirts or collared and button-down shirts 
Our wedding ceremony and reception are summer cocktail. Examples: for women - dressy maxi dresses, summery cocktail dresses, jumpsuits; for men - light suits or sport coats - no ties required
Keep in mind much of the weekend will be outside (and near the beach), so choose shoes wisely and bring a sweater.  🤙

Will any events take place outside?

Yes! Our welcome party will be indoor/outdoor. Our wedding ceremony will take place on the beach, and a wooden aisle will be constructed for easier access. Our cocktail hour will take place on an outdoor deck. All weather permitting. 

Are kids allowed?

We love your kids but thought you might like a night off.  Adults only please!

Do I need to have a car for the weekend?

No! No one should feel stuck if they don't have a car. In fact, we got around for a long time without one. 
The train is definitely the best way to get out to Long Island. 
Ubers/Lyfts and taxis are prevalent in the summer months once you're out here. 

Are Gatsbys allowed?

He's already in a tux.
